I knew I was in good hands from the moment you walked in the door. Your initial presentation of the housing market at the time was comprehensive and thorough, and thankfully, easy to understand and follow. You made me feel very comfortable facing the daunting task of relocating and; you really walked me through each step of the way. You gave great suggestions for getting the house looking “just right.”

    Needless to say, your marketing strategy was right on target. With only a realtors’ open house, we had 10 bids within the week and all over the asking price. I still chuckle to think that there was an unexpected power outage 15 minutes prior to that open house, and yet your were able to pull it off without losing your professionalism. I am still amazed that we ended up selling the houses for nearly 20% over the asking price. There were two other homes that came on the market within a couple of weeks and those houses took much longer to sell at or below their asking price. I thank God and I thank you for making it happen.

    Not every transaction is smooth and flawless, and mine was no exception. I was thankful for your integrity and diligence regarding the information contained in the initial listing. That really helped significantly when some challenges were made by the buyers. You worked well with my lawyer and provided sage advice and timely responses. Throughout the entire process, from placing the house on the market until closing day, it was refreshing to see you act with professionalism and integrity.

  • We are writing to highly recommend Kate Lemmer as a real estate agent and to highlight the technical and interpersonal skills she demonstrated while helping us sell our home.     In May 2005 we accepted a job offer in another state and we needed to sell our home immediately. We contacted Kate and asked her to list the house as soon as possible. She was able to provide us with an objective market selling price for our home, develop a professional and effective flyer that detailed its features, and listed the home in the MLS in less than a week! We were impressed with how quickly she was able to pull everything together and generate a significant amount of activity.     After the house had been listed for one week, we accepted Kate’s advice to entertain offers and Kate presented numerous contracts to us- 17 to be exact! She handled all of questions and eased us through the multiple-bid process in order to get us the best price and a solid offer. We were able to close on the home in approximately 6 weeks.

    Kate was readily available throughout the entire process and promptly returned all of our phone calls the few times we were unable to reach her immediately. Her strong business sense, ability to work with buyers and sellers, and knowledge of the market makes her very successful in selling and marketing homes. Although our home was her first listing, she handled it as though it was her 100th! We have no doubt she has further developed and fine-tuned her skills since then.
