MONTCLAIR, NJ – An indoor Farmers’ Market is scheduled to begin on Sunday, December 6 at the Old Mogul Theater located at 180 Bloomfield Avenue on the second floor. The market will run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and each Sunday thereafter until March 6.
The newly renovated performance venue will open their doors to the public for the very first time with the Grand Opening celebration that will offer an array of fresh produce and will include live entertainment.
The Old Mogul Theater building is a historic landmark of Montclair that has been revitalized into an intimate concert venue. Live music, produced by Joann Smalls, will feature local artists.
“We’re excited to offer a healthy resource to the Montclair community,” said Dr. Kazim Mirza of the Indoor Market. “The Market at the Old Mogul will provide healthy food at an affordable price, access to health education, and great music.”
Independent Farmers from the area will bring their finest goods to the Old Mogul Theater, the oldest theater in Montclair, says Mirza. His family has owned the building since the 1980’s and he anticipates the indoor market being the first of many unique additions his venue will provide to the community.
